Another barrel question

Who makes the best custom and factory barrels for the AR's.
In custom I mean Kreiger,Shaw etc. In factory I mean barrel to name of gun from factory. I bet this question gets a bunch of different opinions but that is ehat makes this site so good.Lots of info and good answers.

Who makes the best Forks? What i'm trying to say is there is no "Best" barrels. There are a ton of great barrel makers and they all have options and offerings that can distinguish them from on another.


Personally I like Pac-Nor'ed Noveskes and Compass Lake. Then again i have expensive taste.

I use Larue Stealth Lothar Walther barrel in one upper and I chose a Krieger barrel finished by Compass Lake Engineering. They are both fantastic. Compass lake will make whatever profile you like and you can choose from Krieger or Douglas barrels depending on desired price.
