keymod mount for X300U - IWS/Haley Thorntail vs BCM's Modular Mount

Can anyone compare the two similar Keymod mounts for mounting the X300 and similar lights? Price is pretty similar, both seem to accomplish the same result, offering multiple mounting positions due to the offset. Really I think I would prefer whichever puts the light closest to the rail, but I can't find any measurements. BCM has a good front view of their mount, but I can't find one of the IWS...

Currently running an X300U on the top rail at 12 o'clock, but it does fill up a good bit of the FOV of both my Micro and CompM4 red dots, so have been thinking about moving off to the side at 1 o'clock. would also alow me to move the front sight back out to the end of the rail as well.

Or, any other suggestions than these two?

Well since the thread's still here, figured I would update it - I picked up a IWC/HSS Thorntail KMR>Picitanny mount, and while it's nice it appears the BCM has quite a bit more options adjustability and positioning wise... The Thorntail is pretty much a fixed solid piece, while the BCM has the ability to change the position of the mount on both the keymod and picatanny sides...

Now there's nothing actually wrong with the Thorntail, it puts the light at where 95% of folks in the world want to put one.

Here's a pics of the mount and an X300U attached... Left hand setup ;). Now, I don't think I'm going to run this setup - most likely am moving the X300U to my SBR at 12 o'clock on the rail in an EXO rail mount. Might look at a smaller/lighter light for this rig, like a ProTac 1L in a Proctor mount maybe. Anyway, here's a few pics of the KMR Thorntail with X300U....

I had trouble finding one also - another reason I decided to move the x300U to another build and go with something like a scout or Protac in either the PLM or Ariska mount.

DD has a keymod version of their 1 o'clock mount, I almost ordered one. I think it's meant more for Red Dots, but looks like it could work, just can't be sure if everything will clear.

Apologize about reviving an old thread, I've got a question that falls in line with the original topic.

I'm also looking at these two mounting options for an X300U(b) on a BCM KMR rail. I plan on mounting it at 9 o'clock, thus placing the light at about 11 o'clock.

The OP's rail does look to be a KMR, but I'm using a MBUIS front which does take up more real estate and has a wider profile due to the lever that deploys it. The Thorntail looks like it might clear it. The BCM option looks like it will clear it provided the 1913 rail is configured in the lower position, which could hang the light awkwardly far from the rail.

Not sure about the BCM, but the Thorntail should clear, you can see how much room there is with the pro front sight in my pics, the MBUS while wider still looks like it would clear, so I suspect the BCM would as well. I would go with the BCM version b/c it has so much more options for adjusting the location.
