Happens around here from time to time. Thank god all the buildings are spread out here. When i was 16, i worked at a burger joint. Hooker motel across the street blew up one day. Guess what caused it? :sarcastic:

Gas explosion apparently. Building had 127 year old gas lines.... :eek: one more reason not to go to NYC..

NYC residents believe they live in some sort of elite haven and the rest of us 'fly over residents' are 2nd class compared to them.

When my family and I lived in Brooklyn there was a gas explosion one street over. Knocked all the windows in our apartment building that were facing that way. I was 9 or so, scared the poop out of me for sure. It was a hell of a blast.

These things happen on a regular basis in the 5 Boroughs. There was a gas explosion in Harlem last March.

That one killed 8-9 i think. Results of aging infrastructure... And crappy maintenance..
