I'm kinda surprised it took him this long to retire. Obama was often handing down ideas and edicts that couldn't be done. But it was Reids job to try and screw himself politically in the process. Case and point being he was pro gun. But when Obama decided he didn't like "Assault" rifles after sandy hook it was Reids job to sell it. But the reality of the issue was they could never pass it. He was probably tired of all the bullshit and said to hell with all of them.
