Hi all,

Went to visit my distributor for Hornady to pick up some 9mm steel match and I was told they were out, and that Hornady USA is also out because the steel casings are made in Eastern Ukraine and the factory was shut down.
So basically no more 9mm Steel Match because Russia.

Anyone heard of this?

My local cop shop still has it available on the shelf. 75 grain steel match is a different story.

Apparently Hornady are not taking any new orders for the 9MM Steel Match, while the 55 grain 5.56 Steel Match and 308 Steel Match are OK. I will try to inquire who supplies the rifle casings.

Wolf supplies them. They've stated that in the past.

Wolf is Barnaul over here. So rifle casings are Russian made and pistol casings are Ukranian.
Thanks Putin, I got a lot of Steel Match in 5.56 and 7.62 but I'm out of 9MM and down to my last .40S&W box...

That explains it! Russia is trying to corner the market on steel 9mm casings!!!
