I recently bought a sevigny rear sight for my Glock. I am curious about wether or not there will be a glare since there is no serrations on the face. I've had Hiene before and they had serrations but the sevigny is smooth black rear face.

Will this be a issue? Should I return the sevigny and go with Hiene again?

I have Warren-Sevigny sights on 2 Glocks and have never noticed a glare. YMMV

I've never had glare with a Warren rear either. Used 'em for a year or so.

I have had glare on serrated rears that are angled slightly forward like a Heinie Slant Pro. Especially if there is oil in the serrations.

And I ended up buying the competition model and not the carry. Will the competition be bothersome while carrying? The carry has rounded corners for carry obviously. Just not sure if it'll make that much of difference.

My preference is serrated sights. Not mandatory but it's definitely a preference.
