Hi everyone, I'm looking at putting a Vltor E-mod stock on M-4, my question is can I keep my extension tube or do I have to buy a Vltor? It a mil-spec tube. Thanks

You can use your Mil Spec buffer tube. Be sure it is Milspec and not Commercial. If you wish to have the added benefit of the A5 system you can buy it but it is not necessary to use the EMOD stock.

You can keep yours as long as the stock and your tube are MIL spec. You will be good.

As far as I know, if your existing extension is mil spec, a VLTOR mil spec stock should work fine. Not to worry, smarter people than I will be by soon to give a definite answer. :)

Edited-the post prior to mine gives the proper answer. Didn't see it before posting.
