I registered online, but then it says I can't use Chrome and to use IE. So I go into IE and open up the Eforms page and says I should use Chrome or IE 8 which I was. I go back to Chrome and it just gives 1000 errors when I finally log in. Any ideas besides killing myself?

I use IE8 and Safari, and rarely have any issues (assuming the system itself isn't down).

I just got through with Firefox.

I used chrome a few weeks ago and had no problems.

I did one about a month ago with IE11 w/ atfonline.gov added to the compatibility view list in the browser settings. Aside from a "system outage" on their end, I had no issues.

are you running any browser extensions?
You might try just resetting ie to default settings.

Slight thread drift, to E-File do you have to upload the trust paper work to ATFs websites or just type it in or what? Thank you

You scan your trust and attach it to your efile application.

You're allowed 10 attachments, with a max of 3MB each.

But...it's much better to upload it as a single PDF, just to prevent any confusion.

After 15 hours, my form 1 still isn't approved. I thought efiling with quicker! I'm just annoyed that I'm going to obsessively check the site now for the next couple months. NFA wait times have always tortured me.

It won't go approved for at least 60 days based on current wait times. It may not show up in their system till someone checks that the model number/ type of weapon is valid. If you include a photo of the serial on the lower it speeds things up. Took about a week for me.

Oh I know, I was just kidding. My machine gun took almost a year on a form 4 a couple years ago. This is just my first e-file.

I used chrome on my first E File and had no issues with the site. I did have to compress my trust to be under the 3MB limit though. I filed 3/22. I did not send a pic of my serial number. I wish I knew but never heard of it when I was researching the process.

Yeah I had never heard of including the serial number before either

There's nothing about including a pic of the serial number that speeds up anything. Including a pic of the model name if you had to check the box and enter your own can be useful in case there's a question, and that pic often includes the SN.

I'm at 72 days today. It keeps creeping up

ETA: Day 73 and my Form 1 finally got approved.

I'm starting to regret not doing this sooner as it seems to be getting longer and longer.
