I was in Raleigh NC for a legal case and as usual stopped at Lawmens Safety Supply, www.lawmens.com . I had asked about Colt 6721s a couple weeks ago, and they said those were back-ordered out the ying yang. How about 6920s? don't even ask.

Well today, what should I see on the wall but a 6920 for $1250! It took about two seconds to decide to put that one on layaway. "Sure, but we have like 15 more, just got in." Wonderful! Anybody anywhere near Raleigh, you are hooked up for the time being.

Also they have Federal XM193 for $325/1000, several cases right there on the floor. Not that anybody would want reasonably priced ammo these days. I got some of this last time I was there, and 100 rounds have functioned well in my S&W M&P-15.

Speaking of which, my dear S&W will be up for sale soon, since I can't finanically justify keeping more than one M4gery in stock right now. I'm pulling it out now to clean it thoroughly and soon my gain will be your gain, whoever wants a decent serviceable carbine.

Thanks for the heads up on the ammo! Picked-up 2000 rounds today. They still have several cases.

Josh is shipping a 6920 to my FFL for $1265.00 + $25.00 transfer no sales tax = @1290.00 out the door.

I'm thinking thats not a bad deal. :D

Thanks Chris!

Funny thing is.... my N4 Light Recce Basic shipped today as well!

It's been a good day!

By the way they said they would ship the ammo too, but you would need to give them your zip for a quote on shipping costs

I haven't seen prices that cheap on 6920s in quite awhile.

Was thinking the same thing. I had just ordered a N4 Recce so I was not really ready for another rig, but at that price was compelled to order it. (who knows what it "might" this time next year)

It's still over priced a little.... but it is a Colt.

Worth it to me

So Lawmens price is $1265 shipped on 6920's? That is good! :D

That's the deal.

And who ships a rifle any more for $15.00 & NO 3% surcharge for a credit card?

Most of these AR mail order places charge almost that much for a buffer & buffer spring!!

I can see why Chris likes Lawmen's. Good prices & very fair S&H rates. Not to mention very good customer service from Josh.

FYI the ammo is gone as of this moring.

That's a smokin price!!! I am just short an extra couple thousand right now or I'd get a couple, my gun fund is about dead with the gas prices and traveling with my daughter every weekend. So, soon as summer is over, I'll be back to buying 4 guns a month like I was back in March..

Man I wish I could pick up some of that ammo but I just spent $2K building my AR these last couple of weeks ($150 buying tools and replacements to correct mistakes after reading this site).

If I had the means, I'd buy em up and sell em to M4C members. Unfortunately, they aren't advertising this weapon on their website and it seems they sell only to LE types with proof rqmts. :(

That's why the price is what it is. Lawmen's are the local distributors for Colt, S&W, Glock and a few others and can only sell certain brands to individual officers due to contracts.

Good place and good people. Sucks they're out of the ammo, I was going to drive over there next week and pick some up.

Mmmmm no not really. I am X military, but now a civilian.

It was a simply credit card purchase and a FFL transfer to my dealer.

Again not sure that is not 100% correct. Josh was aware that I was a civilian.

Perhaps they are buying them at LE distributor pricing I don't know. If that is the case I would guess a grand is their cost or there about. That is a 25% margin. Not bad.

All I know for sure is that Josh was straight forward, picked up the phone on a couple of occasions, didn't take my call on a speaker phone (fookin hate that) to get the FFL there and get the carbine out.

All in all was a quick and easy deal. Kudos to Josh and Lawmens!

Glad to be of help. Except if I get there to pay off my 6920 and all the ammo is bought up!

Lawmens does voluntarily restrict some items to LE only, such as things that say "POLICE" or "SHERIFF" on them, and they will ask for ID and/or badge unless they know you already. Many of the guns in their showcases have tags restricting them to sale to LE only, but that's got to be a manufacturer deal. Lawmens is an authorized SIG individual officer purchase dealer ($100 off for LE and First Responders) and some of their SIGs are for that program only; others anybody can buy.

My local shop has the same set up. But they are not so much restricted, but rather priced with out FET I think.

Not sure about how they sell them, but anyone can get a 6920.

As long as your state approves I believe yes.

That's correct. I got mine in PA and had it slightly "modified" for here in N.J.

HR,
Thanks for the update, and please keep them coming. I could have used a couple cases of XM193. As gun friendly as AZ is, we don't have anyone who sells good 5.56mm ammo, so I always end up ordering mine for the best price I can find on the Internet. And Congrats to everyone who picked up a Colt 6920. It's still my favorite rifle, and is also still free of any FTF's.

Lawman's is sold out of 6920's. Just talked to them and they don't know when they will get anymore......disappointing because of that nice price

Some of them are being sent down to the Lawmens in Columbia SC, and I've got a deposit on one of them. The LAwmens in Raliegh wanted to make sure it was for sale in SC, I think they did not want to ship anymore out of state, to dealers other then Lawmens.

Just picked up my 6920 at Lawmens and will post pix soon, but what everybody else might want to know is, Lawmens just got in 25 more. Get 'em while the getting's good because they'll fly out the door in a week or two.

But no more XM193 at the moment. Guess some dummy posted on M4C that Lawmens had XM193 for a good price, so the dummy found none left for himself. No seriously, they said LE agencies snapped up most of it.

Out of curiosity, when you guys get your 6920s, can you post back and let me know if they are large or standard pin fire control group receivers?

Thanks.

Most all Colt semis have the larger pins, while the full auto take the smaller pins.

They used to make them all with the same size pins, but that changed many years ago.

I just picked mine up from the store in Raleigh. They acted like they had several, but said they may limit sales to in store and not ship anymore. They wanted to have some left for locals.

Tactical,
I guess you're looking at the store in Columbia? I put a deposit down on one a few weeks ago, and haven't heard anything. The Raliegh store was supposed to send some down. I'll call them in the morning and see whats up.
They did make it sound like the Raliegh store didn't want to sell any more out of state though.

Raleigh store. I called after lunch to inquire on their 6920's. They informed me that two were available... at which point I promptly purchased one. :D

We do ALOT of business with Lawmens. The employees at Lawmens are good folks to deal with and Al Sutton, the owner, runs a tight ship. :D

They have a store in Raleigh, SC and they are in the process of opening a store in Charlotte.
