Need help looking for a part from a few years ago

A few years ago there was a part that was a replacement for the mag release that had a paddle that came up behind the bolt catch.
What it did was enable you to lock the bolt back by pressing the mag release.
What ever happend to that? Is there anything else like that on the market?
Was there an issue with that causing to to fade away?

Yep, the REV ENG FCD thingie. IIRC, they ran out of money or something.

That's to bad they went under like that. Ambi bolt lock is something I really want on an AR. Anyone else make anything like that?

Well look at that.
I've been on the fence about getting a fully ambi lower for a feature similar to this. I may just get one of these

AXTS does it the right way... Internally. To the best of my knowledge they don't sell lowers to JQP any longer but they have licensed it to a couple of people that do.

I get the impression AXTS is prioritizing their AX556 lowers for their full rifles.

Note the AX556 has more features than they license to Rainier, etc.
