I got a SW22 Ar for my son to start out with. I'm looking to put a cheap Sig red dot sight on it that has a M1913 rail on the bottom. All I have laying around are some for Aimpoints with out the rail type bottom. Anyone suggest a good mount?
He's 10, so I was trying to figure out how high of a sight to get him. I see some 1/2 inch M1913 to M1913 risers- but I'd think I'd need more than that- maybe stack them? For a smaller headed person, what would be a good height to promote a good head-position/check-weld? It has a CTR stock on it.
Any suggestions?
