I bought a CAA/TDI bayonet lug rail mount. It's sole purpose is to mount my M-3X on. I know CAA may not be the greatest, but does anyone have any experience with this mount/will it be up to the task?

I found the same one on a couple different pages and it's made out of aluminum so it should be difinately good to go for a MX3 or any other light/laser combo! IMO..

It held up just fine for me for 3,000 rounds, although I did have to file the slot a bit to accept the mount (CAA BK-2 holding a SureFire G2).

The only reason it isn't still on my S&W M&P 15 is because I switched to a Streamlight rail bolted to the handguard (https://www.m4carbine.net/showpost.php?p=166323&postcount=36) at about 10 oclock -- much easier to actuate the G2.
