Has any got any exprerience with one . What mags ? Please advise , Thanks:confused:

I have been using mainly the CPproducts 20rd SS mags. I have also tried others. They all seem to work fine if you follow the instructions from RRA ( assuming you are just going to buy a RRA upper ) on how to modify the front of the mags. It seem to work fine before I tweaked the mag but I figured it wouldn't hurt

Here is my RRA with a DD MK 18 RIS II and a PRI low profile block ( the Socom has a carbine length gas system )

Its sitting on a LMT Defender lower

Word of advice, if you are a nose to charging handle shooter you need to stop that with the 458 Socom

I've used all manner of USGI mags without modification with my various 458 SOCOM's over the years.

I also pre-screened some Orlite and Thermold mags back in the day, and they work great if they fit your magwell.

Also, the ammo is really quite expensive. So if you don't reload...
