They aren't exactly new, Para-Ord now owns ZM Weapons.
I'd heard they had bought them out-new for Para:cool: Are they any good, problems-complaints?
It was talked about here a little while ago:
ZM Weapon/Para thread (http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=16046)
I have a ZM Weapons LR300 and it's a fine weapon. No complaints.
Oh, and it's not a gas piston AR.
"The new Para Tactical Target Rifle with its Direct Impinged Gas System™ (DIGS™) gets you back on target faster than any other rifle of its kind. The recoil spring is over the op-rod so there is no “twang” in your ear as your head rests on the rifle’s stock while the bolt cycles between shots. "
From their own page you mentioned:
New(Old) AR (http://www.para-usa.com/new/product_rifle.php)
OK-thanks-I'll look closer next time-overpriced?
I guess what lead me astray was their marketing phrase of "the gas flows thru the MIS system...making it the cleanest running autoloading rifle in the world" That will teach me to believe every thing I read:rolleyes:
To qoute an old gun plumber- "it's still a shit pumper"
It's ok and I've shot them, I don't feel the price tag is relevant to what you get though.

I always liked the look of the older model LR300.

I don't see a piston Para AR.?

It says it's a "The new Para Tactical Target Rifle with its Direct Impinged Gas System™ (DIGS™) "
As I stated above, and it has been politely pointed out by others(thank you), I was sucked in by the twist of marketing semantics:eek: It's more of what they didn't say, as opposed to what they said. I will now quietly step back into the shadows.
