I've been following these since Century announced them a while ago. The reviews are overwhelmingly good, and several high-profile youtube firearms personalities have made pretty favorable statements about them. I'm just about sold on one. A milled AK that takes AKM furniture with a nitrided barrel for ~$700 seems like an awesome deal. I'm still slightly skeptical of US made AKs, though. I'm especially interested in round counts. I know that some of the original C39s had their barrels shot out fairly quickly at a rental range in Nevada. How do the new nitrided barrels hold up? I'm really interested to know if any of you guys have any personal experience with/own one. Any down side to them? Are any of its parts prone to failure (more so than any other AK) after extended usage?
