Reports of AK-47 wielding middle easterners in Staten Island

Not much else available from public sources. NYPD shutting down lanes to get off the island, narrowing to one lane at each bridge searching for suspects' silver minivan as NJ plates were said to be on the vehicle(s). FBI saying reports that guns were only paintball guns.

Just thinking that letting your kids go out on Staten Island and play paintball hours after someone shoots someplace up and kills four and wounds one isn't exactly smart.
On the other hand if you might want to test case reaction times and start a diversion it might simply be a stroke of genius.
Kind of the ISIS icing on the cake as it were.
