From what I can gather from the tv it sounds like suicide by cop.

It seems the only people he shot at were the police who returned fire and killed him.

They keep talking about tear gas being used by the suspect.

So he pepper sprayed 3 people, hacked one with a hatchet, and then waited for police to come to shoot it out. That definitely is Not an active shooter.

All of the MSM stories with "gunman" and "shooter" in the headline/article seem to have simply added "reported" to their stories. "Reported gunman".

Never see them say "hatchetman" or "pepper-sprayman".
