Waypoint Shooting School wants to help you shoot well and have fun while doing it. Learn in depth how to be consistently accurate, fast, and confident with your handgun. To achieve this, Waypoint maintains a friendly yet professional atmosphere and keeps class size small. Students will be actively involved in the learning process, testing the techniques they learn through various exercises and assessments. Students will be given methods of self-diagnosis to increase capabilities. Receive one-on-one coaching and performance tracking data to help prioritize areas of improvement for every skill level.

Handgun 1 gives you necessary handgun knowledge and skills. Learn how to effectively use a handgun. Areas of focus include; Marksmanship, recoil control, and effective handgun manipulation. The curriculum is presented in an easy-to-understand format that increases your safety, confidence, and proficiency.

Class will be hosted at the ARO Group training facility located in Deerfield, Ohio

The range location is a half hour in between Kent State University and Youngstown State, so pick your poison if you want some late night college town shenanigans though we don’t recommend that. If you’re looking for a more cultured affair, Cleveland proper is an hour east. There you can check out fine dining on East 4th st. then head to a variety assortment of museums, Waypoint recommends the Cleveland Museum of art. (We couldn’t find Drew Carey at the Rock and Roll hall of fame.)
