I have been considering purchasing a 450 Bushmaster upper, but I haven't heard much about performance except what you hear from Hornady. If any of you have had some hands on experience please give me your thoughts. Thanks
I have both a 458 SOCOM (well 2) and a 450 Bush. The 450 Bush is new on the market compaired to the 458 S and 50 Beo, but it is getting a big push from Hornady and Bushy. I have the new reloading data right from Hornady, if you would like it, I can send it to you or post it as an IMG here.
Hopefully Hornady will release some other loads but now there is only a single factory loading where as both the 50 B and 458 S have quite a few different factory loads. Granted they are a bit more pricy.
So all in all is the Bushamster .450 worth the money. Looking to hunt mulies....:)

I would never hunt mulies on my ranch with a 450 B, the shots are a lot longer then 100 yards... hence the 300 Wby Blaser R-93 I use. If your in "dense mulie country" wherever that may be, then sure, but high plains country of the mid west is not going to cut it for a 450 Bushmaster for me personally. Now hogs thats a different story...
Bushmaster has the 16in .450 on sale now for $549.
Thanks for the info :) thats a good savings!!
