Not a big revolver guy, but I suddenly want one of these soo bad. Almost put this in the survival/disaster area, being able to shoot similar diameter cartridges could be useful in a pinch... But price tag is a little.. Steep.

I actually remember when those came out. That cylinder sure had a lot of drag on it. Pretty cool though.

A standard 357 will fire all of the same cartridges with the exception of the 9mm rimless family and the 38 S&W. In fact, the pistol in the video won't chamber a 38 S&W either because the cartridge is larger in diameter than the 38 Special family

Now I want a .357 wheel gun.

Everyone should have at least one .357 revolver.

The Medusa is a bit of a "Holy Grail" gun for me. Right next to the Mateba, the ASP, and the Devel pistols.

Now you're taking! I got to put some rounds thru an ASP way back when. Amazing gun for its time, but we've come a long way since then.

Devel is certainly a grail gun for me.

Medusas suffered from a high price, and being the answer to a question that nobody was asking at the time. In retrospect, they seemed to be a neat idea, but in reality they offered very little in reality. I also seem to recall some issues with accuracy as well, but this was ages ago. Think about how messed up the cylinder chambers would have to be to fire 9mm P & 38 S&W, in addition to the more common 38/357, and even the 38 Super. Don't even dream of reloading your brass, it would have bulges like a pregnant dachshund.

My local Cabela's had an ASP in the gun library. I had to ask to hold it. Thankfully, the guy wasn't a dick and obliged. Sadly, the asking price ($4500ish, IIRC) was too far out of my price range and the front door was too far to make a break for it. :-P

And, I agree that the Medusa is a bit of an answer in search of a problem. However, having not been able to get 9mm ammo for any of my handguns once during a trip to Walmart at the height of the panic after Sandy Hook made me consider diversifying my calibers.
