Here is my new Charles Daly defense AR. I have been reading reviews on this site and a few others. Those reviews helped me make up my mind with taking a chance on the Daly.

This is really my first AR. I did pick up a Colt Sp1 last week though.

Now all I need to do is get a scope and head to the range.

Here are a few photos:

Very nice rig, that is as black a black rifle I have seen in a while. I like the looks for sure and I have read very good thingsabout CD's AR's. When are you going to put it through a workout?

Good choice. I know you will enjoy it as much as I enjoy my DM4LE. Took it to the range yesterday. Nothing exciting to write about, even with Wolf ammo, pull the trigger, it goes bang every time, almost boring. j/k  And if we ever have a problem, just remember, we have Mike's personal phone #

I want to pick up another rifle and have been watching the CD's also. I'd be interested in how yours functions and how it is put together... I noticed it has a 1/9 twist. What model is that? Did you get it from a dealer if you don't mind me asking.:)

Good Shooting!

M4S16. I got it to be a light coyote rifle.

Here are a couple more photos with scope mounted.

Nice looking rig. Not many coyotes where I am, I'd be more interested in the LE version.... I'm still looking.
Good luck with your weapon, let us know how it runs.

Thanks,
Jack

yes, please do a review when you get the chance. I am eyeing the same rifle and would like to know how she performs.

How does the Daly stack up against the S&W?

Both seem to be the best value going in a complete rifle...

I just received a new M4LE and I'm pretty impressed. My go to rifles are Colts and LMT's and the CD seems to be right there with them when it comes to the quality, fit and finish. I am very happy with it so far. I like the S&W's as well and I have owned a few of them but given the choice I would take the CD.

Like Rob_S said in the other thread they are pretty much on par. The main difference is that CD has the better barrel, S&W has the better BCG. Its a lot easier to swap out a BCG (which you should have a spare anyways) than it is to swap out a barrel. So the choice is yours to make
