Ok So i finally got off my lazy butt and put together the Accuracy testing video that i previously mentioned in my other thread. The results werent too bad for such a short barrel..I was at 90 yards in a standing position. My scope was previously zeroed in at a 25yard distance so i had to a do a little bit of compensating..The wind was blowing the target a little bit during that day so it started to sway back and forth..But overall i think it was a successful test..The results are below.

I know nothing about the optic you're using, a session at a bench may help distinguish the gun's potential better. I suck at offhand. I almost always kneel to fire and strive to brace myself on my cover. If I'm shooting in the open... I ain't standing still.

Thanx for commenting guys.. The free handed standing position takes my shots all over the center mass area.. but it kinda gives you a general idea when you are hunting from a standing position at the 90yard distance of the kind of potential that this rifle has, using a medium price ranged scope http://www.burrisoptics.com/sights/ar-sights-series/ar-332 .. I was kinda impressed that i was able to get all of the shots within a decent group from the center..

For offhand at 90 yards that's pretty good.

Now you need a Silencer co hybrid for 338 when they come out 😊

If i supress it ..wouldnt i have to run subsonic loads? how much velocity do you think i would loose if i decide to put a supressor on it?

You can run standard ammo. Most people do. You'll still get the supersonic crack of the bullet, but the muzzle blast gets tamed down quite a bit.

Not to be rude but I really think you should keep all of your testing and details in a single thread. Having this project strewn across four different threads is confusing and hard to follow a fragmented conversation.

It's not just that one though. You have this same conversation across three or four different threads. To make this simple for those trying to follow your progress on this firearm/caliber you should combine them all (with the assistance from a mod of course) and keep the conversation in a single thread.

Really not a bad idea. I'm one of those inspired by this build. If I have a question in my head about this build, it is a PITA to check in on 3 different threads thinking "where did I read that?".
