No expert but I'd say most likely a 73 could be a 92 for all I can tell from the pic, but I'll put $0.02 on 73

Look more like a 92 or 94. The 73 has a dust cover on top, while the 92/94 doesn't. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped as well.

Yeah I couldn't tell if that was a dust cover or a little rail.

While I love my lever guns, I'd like to see him (and others) come out holding an AR. That's where the left (and the media) is going right now. They want anything military styled.
