Good morning, looking to see what folks may be using in regards to LEATHER IWB (I carry at the one) Would like a metal clip and the ability to tuck. I'm currently using a Blade tech, but the polymer just doesn't cut it and it rides a bit high for me, cants outboard. Not after the welcome mat backing plates on some offerings, holster body and a clip.

Thanks for the help.

For true tuckable concealment the clips must be Velcro with the inside of the belt Velcro lined as well. Therefore I'm thinking metal clips won't work. CompTac makes the clips I prefer. They can be purchased separately and allow for adjustable ride height.

If it must be an all leather AIWB.

Option 1: MS SSII, or similar, with the comp tac clips

Option 2: t-Rex Kydex with the comp tac clips (I've found no better Kydex maker, and they have a claw which pushes the holster against the body.

Re option 2: I know you want all leather, but with a 43 a minimalist Kydex may be more comfortable. Mole skin could be added, but probably not necessary.

High Noon holsters Hidden Ally or Centerfold should do you nicely. Super affordable and "stocking" so you'll get it fast.

Having said that, I'm not a huge fan of AIWB with striker-fired pistols in anything but a hard kydex rig. If you choose to go the leather route, you will need to be EXCEPTIONALLY vigilant in your reholstering...

I actually found a cheap soft leather holster with a metal clip to be among the most comfortable among those in my box of rejected holsters. No, it's not tuckable... And No, you simply cannot reholster in it unless you are unbelievably stupid... But very comfortable with a Shield, G43, or P290RS.

Blackhawk developed an appendix holster made from a soft pliable injection molded polymer. I got one for my Shield and don't use it because the clip is a chintzy pos. It would allow a reholster. The body of the holster seems quality. The clip was a deal breaker.

Maybe an Incog Eclipse would be worth a shot? Still hard kydex, but the sueded texture resolves some kydex weak points.

The Centerfold looks great, thanks for pointing HN out. OPen to others as well.

RKBAholsters.com makes a leather clip one as well. It might not be listed on their page but I know they can make it as someone posted a photo of it on my Facebook page.

I've had great success with the Condom Holster.

It's a minimalist holster, leather, great metal clip and is the most versatile holster I've used. I've carried it appendix, slid it around to 4oclock etc. And if you want tuckable he has this:

John "Shrek" McPhee (retired Delta force Sergeant Major) has some other great stuff on his website. I'm surprised that the Condom holster isn't more popular.

I had an Alessi Talon plus for my G27. I really liked it a lot. I've ordered one for my G43, but the wait time is ridiculous, 10 weeks. Should be shipped in the next few weeks.
