With recent news of a agency change in firearms, I decided I needed to get one of my own. The threaded barrel was more for me since I shoot everything suppressed now anyways. At $434 shipped from buds I couldnt pass it up either. Overall impressions out of the box are mixed, the gun came functional although the slide to frame fit feels pretty sloppy, something none of my other handguns seem to have (Beretta M9, Sig 226, Sig 228, 2 Glock 19s, FN MKIII, or SA Inc 1911). The thread protector was rusted to the barrel, almost necessitating pliers to remove. The barrel cleaned up nicely and fits the new 1/2x28 piston (my other guns are all 13.5x1 LH thread) I purchased using my damn the man credit through AAC. The TiRant 9 sticks out about half an inch but otherwise the package fits my battlecloth holster. Ill get to shoot it tomorrow after work to get a good impression on the gun, I like the grip and ergos but the trigger feels like mush when dryfiring. Heres some pics...
