Does anyone make or is it even possible to make a 30 or 40 round casket mag that is the same length as a stranded 20 round mag?

It does not even have to be that short but short enough to be able to use it in prone/bench shooting.

You mean like the 74 round Soumi magazine? (the Schillstrom patent on the right)

It would take a little work to get it to fit, but it might be possible.
