Can steel core 7.62x39mm penetrate level III armor?

A lot of people have asked for old school Norinco steel core to be tested so here it is. Rifle is 20" SKS, distance is about twenty feet, ten rounds on an AR500Armor.com level III Paxcon coated plate. This is pretty near the worst case scenario, short of actual AP ammo. You know the drill, make your predictions before you watch the test.

I'm going to say no, that plate should be able to stop 7.62x51 so it shouldn't have a problem stopping 7.62x39 even with a steel core.
