Anyone know if there is a mag extension for the Beretta 1201FP? My google skills aren't returning anything and I was hoping to use this for 3-Gun and the more shells it can hold the better.

There's no way to make the 1201FP hold more shells. That's why I ended up selling mine. Good guns otherwise.

Yeah, it's been about 4 years since I sold mine so I don't recall exactly how the tube was but I remember field stripping it and seeing that it just wasn't designed to ever hold more than 5 shells or be made to hold more than 5. Might be possible to have a good gunsmith do some machining and finagling to get an 8-shot tube on it (after dealing with 922r issues) but by that point you might as well sell the 1201 and get something else. I hear really good things about the 1301 and there are extensions for those (again 922r) but I think they're around a $1000 or maybe a bit more, I'm not sure. The Mossberg 930 is about $600 and Made in the US so no 922r BS but I have read they are hit-or-miss.

Not quite true, but it would be expensive. You could replace the entire mag tube with a Benelli M1 or M1 model one piece extended mag tube. That would require an (expensive) M1 barrel and forearm.

922r is the only reason I could see it being worth doing the conversion. (or being pre ban in some State?) The 1201FP was imported with a 6 round mag so 922r doesn't apply.
