Utterly kickass.

ETA: Does this use the factory barrel nut?

I'm linking it. My brother in law just picked up a RPR, and I thought the handguard was lacking. Guess there is a immediate fix. Looks great!!

It uses our own barrel nut and installs much like an AR Handguard. One thing to keep in mind is that there is no timing for a gas tube with this rifle so their is one less necessary step.

any chance of getting a longer handguard considering the RPR barrel lengths are longer than your typical AR15 set up?

I'm digging it. A RPR is on my short list, and I believe this rail just made it too.

Here's hoping that you can get them to offer it as an OEM choice. The REPR is awesome because it is cheap and GTG. When you start swapping parts the value versus other options starts to go down. Not having to parts bin stuff would help with that.

I predict Ruger selling the receiver(s) and bolt as an option so people can build their own version, same as an AR based rifle. Why not? plenty of folks would still buy the base rifle as built like they do with an AR now. Maybe even expand the options themselves, using BCM as an example, having the ability to chose grips, triggers, handguards and stocks.
