Oddball KMR questions

I'm thinking about picking up a KMR, and have a couple of questions:

1. What is the KMR barrel nut made from (steel aluminum, other)?

2. Is the drive square on the included wrench made for a 1/2" or a 3/8" torque wrench?

Just due diligence stuff. I tried asking the source, but that did not work out.

Steel barrel nut, the supplies wrench fits a 1/2 ratchet.
