I am about to pull the trigger on either the Octane 9 or the Revo 9, but I noticed only the octane 9 has the option for a XL (Beretta specific) piston. Since the cans are largely the same (i'm told), will the fitment issues that the octane and osprey suffer from occur with the Revo 9 as well? If so, is there a solution?
My plan is to thread the factory barrel, which I believe is where the need for the Xl piston arises.
Also, is it OK to mount the Octane or Revo9 to a Rugger Mark 3 with 1/2x28 threads using the same piston/booster set up? or is the fixed barrel spacer required for this?
