Heyguys. Happy thanksgiving! My go to sights are defoor plain black sights on all my glocks. I really like the thin front sight, and shoot great with them in full daylight, but I want to try a tritium front sight. Is there a .115 front sight available with a tritium insert?

I sent my Defoor front sight posts to Tooltech Gunsight to have tritium installed.

10-8 does .125 tritium.

Warren Tactical said that the company that installs the tritium vials won't do a front for them thinner than .125".

I think might be mistaken about what width you have, unless you had someone put the tritium tube in for you. The reason I say this is because the Ameriglo site doesn't list anything other than .125 with tritium.

Their model GL-212-165-120 says this: NEW item as of Oct 2013. Our thinnest tritium front sight for Glock. .165” H x .125” W. Small tritium dot with thin lime colored painted outline. Could be a misprint, or could they be talking about dot size?

The Defoor tritium front sight also has the tritium low on the front blade, from Defoor:

I do an unbelievable amount of low light and night pistol training with multiple mil/LE units and the result of that training, the data gathered and the tests taken in low and no light over the last couple years with a few hundred shooters is my new site that Ameriglo makes and it is out now.

Dimensions are the same as my OG sights (front now .125) but for these I put the tritium in the front only and in the lower half of the post (never done before that I know of).

The reasons for this are for unobstructed accurate daytime shooting, a secondary sighting method for close and fast shooting, and IMHO the most beneficial/simple tritium sight setup (dot will disappear behind rear notch if alignment is off). Might not be for everyone, but this is how me and a bunch of dudes who’ve put the time in roll.

BTW: the coupon code 'defoor' still takes $15.00 off the price, downside, they charge $10.00 for shipping.

Not mistaken, in post 2, I sent my Defoor .115 front posts to Tooltech for the tritium vials.

Sorry, forgot about that post. I looked on their website, since they are a provider of custom services for Trijicon, would it be safe to guess that the prices for Glock sights are to replace vials?
