B5 SOPMOD stock on BCM A5 eight position receiver extension

So I'm looking to mount a B5 enhanced SOPMOD stock (not Bravo) on a BCM A5 eight position receiver extension. Will it collapse all the way? Pictures?

Back story: I have a S&W M&P10, and it doesn't allow stocks to fully collapse due to the added length (same as A5 length). I know that the seven position VLTOR allows long stocks like the EMOD and ACS to fully collapse, but not the SOPMOD. I have heard that the BCM eight position A5 will allow the SOPMOD to collapse all the way, but I'd like to confirm before ordering.

The first and last hole on the Vltor and BCM A5 tube is the same. The BCM just has closer spacings in between so that shorter stocks will 'lock' into place, not necessarily collapse all the way.

Ok so... With my SOPMOD stock, will it collapse to hole 2? Right now my M&P10 wears the 6 position RE10 which puts the stock out unnecessarily far in the first position.

No, it will not collapse all the way.

I understand that it won't collapse all the way to position 1, that's only for the EMOD, ACS, STR, etc.
But again, will the SOPMOD make it to position 2 on the BCM 8 position tube? Will it collapse further than it does on the 6 position RE10-A5 or even standard 7 position A5?
