I have been looking forever trying to replace my upper. Why are there no 6943 or 6945 uppers anywhere? Everywhere I have looked they have been out for months. Just want to replace with the original factory piece.

What upper are you looking for? A 6920 by chance?

6945/6946 CQB upper. More than G&R and no bolt included but still a lot better than that one on Gun Broker. There doesn't seem to be a lot of other options out there right now; if you want one bad enough then SAW Sales may be your your best bet if you don't want to wait. Ken may even have 6943 upper if you call him and ask.

This discussion on the Colt AR15A4 mentions that Colt is going through a restructuring, and that rifle won't go into production again for a few more months:

Grant from G&R mentioned that they haven't produced any AR15A4s for 6 months. I would bet that their production of complete uppers was also affected.

Just trying to find another 6921 upper or barrel.

Some good deals on SOCOM barrels but have enough of those.
