Looking to buy a plate carrier on Cyber Monday and found this FirstSpear STT. I was eyeing this up, just havent found too many reviews on it. What do you guys think? If not recommended, what else would you consider? It will only accept medium ESAPI plates. Link is below. Also, undecided on MultiCam or Coyote Brown?

You can still put lvl 4 Shooters or swimmers cut. I have many first spear products and that are all highest quality..

I would only be weary of this because it's a conjunction product.
Let's compair prices.

The typical first spear carrier starts around $450 and go up from there...
This is less than $200...

What do you think the quality difference will be?
Will it be worth the savings?

The quality is fine. I've handled it and it seems just as well made as their other carriers.

It is just as well made as First Spear's other products, but has fewer features to meet a specific price point. The only reason I do not own one is because I wear larger size plates. Otherwise it would probably be my go to plate carrier.

what do people do about the lack of velcro up top for identifiers

Plus a MOLLE Velcro patch panel for the back.

Bought one during the sale also. It's well made, lightweight and comfortable. Very easy to get into and out of. My only complaints is the lack of the Velcro patch panels and that the front plate pocket is just a smidge smaller then the back one.
