loadin mags with jr can be a fun counting exercise

unfortunately ca kids can only count to 10. sometimes when i would ask my 3yr old to count he would skip 4 or 6, i think to mess with me. i started having him count out cartridges on my stripLULA mag loader. he doesn't mess with dad when the gun stuff is out. time to be serious and pay attention. now 4 yrs old he is a champ at counting to 10. i sure wish he could count to 20 or 30. just thought i'd share a fun counting exercise for dad and his lil counters to bond with. and yes, he washes his hands when he's done.

I do the same with my oldest daughter, almost 6. We started with just counting them out as she handed them to me. Now, I have her open the boxes of 20, divide it into four rows of 5rds, then give me 6 rows to fill the magazine. So she gets her math in, and now she knows how to reload Glock mags & PMAGs, and how many go into each style and size.
