Savage Axis Rebate

Until December 31, 2015, Savage is giving a $50 rebate. At Walmart stores in Central Texas, the Axis is $257.00. The mail-in rebate makes it en outstanding deal. I bought two, 223 and .308, and look forward to plinking with one and hog hunting with the other.

Brake in the barrel properly and do a little trigger work and they'll be excellent shooters. As a lefty, I've owner many a Savage and they'll group well for you. Not the prettiest girls on the block, but they'll perform for you!

There are several drop in stocks available for the Axis rifles. Rifle Basix also makes a drop in trigger unit for that line.

This could clear up the two complaints I hear about the Axis line: bad trigger and ugliness.

Very tempting to pick one up...especially the 223 version.
