I'm fairly dead set on either the Nightforce ATACR 5-25×56 F1 or the Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27x56 for my first big scope buy.
To guide my decision making, I used the following website:

I understand that having a scope in first focal plan is worth the extra cash. When it comes down to my personal opinion, as I can get both scopes for roughly the same price, I like the Nightforce more aesthetically, but am worried about it's inability to function with a night vision adaptor (according to the second link).
Does anyone, especially owners of either scope, have any input? My main use for this optic would be getting into long distance, competition shooting. I' currently sporting a 300WM Remington 700.
