I'll likely grab a T2 but couldn't resist the H1 for $399.

What do people like, in addition to Daniel Defense

I would recommend Spuhr. We have a number of their products on our company weapons, to include optics mounts and different rail systems.

The 41 mm HRT version provides a good 1/3 co-witness, in the pictures with a standard FSB ( F ) and a KAC 600m BUIS

Are you wanting absolute or lower 1/3rd co-witness? Fixed or QD mount? These are the specifics you need to state so people can help drive you in the right direction. Otherwise, as you've seen already in responses, your going to get stuff all over the board.

Best? Fixed I'd go with Spuhr, QD I'd go with GDI. Good enough? Fixed I go with DD or perhaps Scalarworks (they're sorta in-between fixed and QD, IMO), QD I'd go with Scalarworks, Bobro, or ADM.

This is just gonna turn out to be a list of manufactures of who make mounts for micros, unless you describe your needs

I started out with a fixed Daniel Defense micro mount (the old model that was lower 1/3 co-witness only) which worked perfectly well, then decided that I needed (or thought I needed) a QD mount and replaced the DD with an American Defense Mfg AD-T1-11. The DD was then gifted to someone and I've had no problems so far with the ADM mount. I don't know if they are the "best" or not, but the ADM's are priced right in the larger scheme of things.

I have lately been questioning my actual need for the QD feature, as the Micro has not had to come off the carbine yet, so I am tempted to ditch the ADM and get another the DD and take the reduction in weight and the elimination of one more snag point in exchange for the lack of QD. The Spuhr that has been referenced definitely looks solid (it probably should at 3.6 ounces), but I'm not sure it does anything that the DD won't do as well.
