Greetings A_shizzle,

I can't help you much on those two choices.

However, I use the Knight's Armament rail covers and really like them.

Go with the Magpuls. I've used alot of the types, these are some good kit.

My vote would be for the Magpul XTM (not XT) or KAC panels.

XTM wins in my book as well.

I don't have enough rail systems to give the XTMs a home. :(

I too have the XTM on my DD Omega 9. I like how you can modify the length just by adding or removing sections as opposed to having to permanently modify the other kinds by cutting them to length. Yes you may have small gaps here and there depending on what you're hanging off the rail, but I consider that to be inconsequential in my book. It's also cool how you can mix and match giving it a "camo" look.

I'd go Magpul myself. The TDs were too fat for me.

I took the end ones off this a.m. and rounded them off. Looks really good in my opinion.

Maybe Magpul could offer rounded ones in the set for the end sections?

Just a FYI the Omega does come with 3 Magpul/Ergo Ladder covers.

Good morning gents...semi new on the site (longtime lurker)...happy to finally be able to recieve informed comments from you guys. ;)

I have no experience with XTMs. I know their main advantage is its "modularity" - put it where you want it length .... with regard its thickness when it is mounted, how does it compare to the Knights panels?

Thanks in advance and more power! :)

I think they are the same.
