405 gr JSP at about 1,900 fps fired from 18" Marlin Guide Gun into a Spartan Armor Systems level III+ plate. Clay measures back face deformation. Feel free to make predictions before watching the test. Factors to consider are:
Low velocity
High mass
This round did not penetrate level III and IV ceramic plates, but caused substantial back face deformation, which would likely have still been fatal.
