I have to sling approx 22 Remington 870s LL.

I am toying with the idea of simple slings as Admin will not approve VTAC or similar due to costs.

Does anyone have an outlet (link) for quality 1" or 1.25" sling webbing (100 yd rolls) and associated slides or quick adjust hardware?

doing a google search, I get many hits but they are not what I am looking for.

Black or Safety Orange is my goal.

thanks in advance

Even if not quite right, this might be a start to salvage or even dye.

TAG makes quality stuff, often over built. These slings are quality but basic one-inch webbing (softer hand), sewn web pull tab and a brand name ITW plastic buckle. If they are going to get slammed into trunk lids or doors, especially in freezing cold, I'd order a significant overage if the LL systems have 20-year lifespan.

Not my personal go-to rifle sling due to skinny width, but for a limited use back-upsystem, they're valid for me. I've paid $30 for similar quality in the past. I was conflicted about sharing this gold mine on the internet, but a worthy cause. Please stay safe - and thanks for the good fight.

If I could dig a little more creativity out of you all......

I want to keep costs down (as budget process is coming up and I am going to ask for a mess of firearm stuff).

We use the Remington 870 Factory +2 extension with the barrel/mag ext clamp.

I dont want to use a swivel on the bottom but would rather slip something on the clamp for a side mount, preferably metal to accept the sling webbing as the front attachment point.

I was thinking a D ring.....but if you have a better idea.....let me know.

thanks

I wanted the front of the sling closer to the centerline of the bore so it will lay flat instead of wanting to turn when slung. Here is the factory clamp that I believe the right sized D ring will fit.
