Has anyone used the Vltor rail kit and what do you think about it?

I have one on my carbine and like it quite a bit. GotM4 suggested it instead of the ARMS SIR forend, and I'm glad he did.

It's rock-solid, and being able to put rails only where I want them is a plus. Also, I discovered that the threads for mounting the rail sections are the same as those used by Yankee Hill for their sling mount and bipod stud, so both of those now reside on my carbine.

It's just a very versatile, clean unit. Just my 2¢ of course, your mileage may vary...

Very solid system. I'm working one into a build right now.
