I went and saw it last night. It was ok. Personally I think the first movie had a better plot and story line. The new one has some intense action sequences like those in the trailer but if you watch the trailer, you already seen the movie. Be your own judge, go see it anyway, its worth watching.

Okay, hotness is what we in the business call a sensory perception, Lori fits the Peppermint Patty hotness profile for guys that are into to the profile. She looked okay in the surf scenes, she pulled her role in League of Our Own.

I going to check-it out later today. I've seen the original a few times and thought it was good.

I agree it would've been great to see the new movie take-off where the old one left off.

Gary Busey is a classic and one of a kind. I liked him as Mr. Joshua in 'Lethal Weapon' another classic. One crazy dude he is for sure.

Also, Patrick Swayze has a look alike brother who could have been in the movie with Keanu Reeves.

Some things you just CAN'T repeat.

After a 5 minute skydive from 14K...."Ok Johnny, 1000 feet, now pull"...

The original is what got me to start skydiving...even if some of the technical details were so much bullshit, the visuals were stunning, the editing and soundtrack were just perfect. Never be able to beat the original. 25 years later and I'm still jumping. A sequel would have been doable in the spirit of the above mentioned.

Remakes of very average movies from the 90s is the best Hollywood can do these days. Meh, no thanx.

What we need now is a remake of Road House :big_boss:

IF they changed the names of the characters it would have been an alright movie idea. I lost all interest at the "I believe they are extreme athletes like me.".
