Troy Delta install problems.

I received a Troy Delta rail for Christmas for my LE6920. I decided to install it today and I am having problems. I believe it is to align to the barrel nut teeth? However it doesn't. It is canted when snapped into place. The instructions are very vague.
I am I doing something wrong? Could it be a defect?
It should be an easy drop in install. Any suggestions?

If I remember correctly the clamps go in behind the barrel nut, it is a real pain to get everything lined up and while at the same time the Delta ring pulled back far enough to do it. It took a lot of effort, keep trying you'll get it.

My first Delta I installed whooped my butt trying to get it lined up. As stated by CLee0509, once I figured out to put the clamps behind the barrel nut it went together like gravy. I was focused on it lining up with the barrel nut at first and it really threw me off on my first one.
