Anybody gotten hands on weavers dual focal plain scope?

I've got a couple of them and really like them. The scope is a bit on the heavy side but the glass is clear and the dot is daylight bright (with an off position between each brightness level). The reticle is a basic mil-dot and is pretty useful. Adjustment is mil-mil and the turrets are covered.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I can't see the weight being worse than the Vortex Razor. How's the field of view?

Field of view is good. Weaver's technical specs show it at 29' at 100 yards. That is a little bigger than the Bushnell 1-6.5x DFP and the Razor 1-6x.

I'm pretty sure that the Bushnell ET1625DP and Razor HD II beat the Weaver in FOV at 1x. Weaver lists 29m at 100 yards, Bushnell 32.6m, and Vortex 35.1m.

The Bushnell ET1625DP isn't even available though as it's been delayed to 2016.
