Recommended Scope For AR

Looking to get some thoughts about a good scope for my AR. The AR in question is my Noveske 16.1 Recon upper. I am looking at adding an A2 style fixed stock and a good optic to make it into a DMR type build. I am possibly looking at a Leupold Mark 4 8.5-25x50 LR/T, especially because the price may be right. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

That's a lot of power for a scope.
I'd recommend a 2.5-8x or 2.5-10x for a SPR/DMR type gun.

I think 10X would be more than sufficient. NSX 2.5-10X is worth looking at.
