What's going on with LMT? No one seems to have their 14.5 M4 uppers in stock.

I just ordered my 14.5" LMT from Henderson Defense Industries. They got it in like 10 weeks I think. Might have to get a dealer to call and order one for you.

GTS/Denny's shows the 10.5 and the 14.5 in stock. and shows the 16 being out.
I ordered a 14.5 and monolithic rail last Thursday and they said it would be 3-6 weeks.
Their standard items like Uppers and BCG's are popular and they are about 16 weeks backordered which is the norm. I just put in a dealer order and they didnt even have one BVG in stock that they could sneak to me for my new SPR.
They are too busy not shipping piston guns.

I hope my Aug 29th ship date on my Piston Upper won't come and go. I got everything else ready to go and waiting for some range work.

Absolutely no argument there. My frustration comes from them saying on a Tuesday that "We are starting to ship this Friday" and then not...more than once. Either they are boxed up and ready for shipping 3 days in advance or they aren't.
Buddy of mine just got his 16" this Monday - he placed the order in early May. At the point of the order, the nice lady at LMT said they were trying to work through a massive number of orders from the SHOT Show.
I placed my order first 1/2 of June. Should have it tomorrow. Shipped out to my FFL Monday. That's about 10 weeks I think.
I placed my order in early April for a piston upper. I contacted LMT yesterday. They said my original ship date was 8-29-08. Now its three weeks out.

I ordered a LMT MRP 16" on 7/2. Still not here. Talked to my dealer about a week and a half ago, he called LMT and they stated it should ship out in the next couple of days.
It's my first AR and the anticipation is killing me.

Just picked up the lower with SOPMOD stock. It had an ERGO grip on it. Maybe it will grow on me. Wife called.......UPPER IS WAITING!!! 10 weeks plus shipping week seemed FOREVER!!
Bravo Co has the uppers in stock too.

I bought my LMT 16" upper from BravoCo also. Placed the order in mid March of this year. Got it within a weeks time. Was charged an extra $100 by accident (we were BSing too much during the order)... after an email notification, they corrected the problem on a SUNDAY! To say that I'm a little partial to BravoCo would be an understatement.
I'm VERY satisfied with this upper. Holds 1 MOA with Black Hills 77GR Match and is 100% reliable. What more could you possibly ask for?
Was not sure I liked the oversized handguards at first, but now I prefer them if a foward hand grip is not being used.
Oh by the way...free M4 handguards and FREE shipping on the uppers. I've got to say Bravo Co. is great. I did an internet Order with no glitches whatsover.
I definitely will order from them again. (Like 2 BCGs when I have the $$)

Bravo is a Great company.
I'm in Wisconsin so I get hit with Sales Tax and that can add up.
I have been buying my uppers from Grant and with his $8 shipping....I have no complaints.
Yeap Bravo Co. and G&R Tactical are my go to places when Im buying.Ive had oustanding service from both.
Another thing that many people don't appreciate is that when you buy from company's like these you get real mil spec parts as advertised. Many places take the "just as good as" approach to this standard to raise margins.

thats what my SOPMOD has. Will a standard sling swivel fit?
Can someone confirm if all new SOPMODs come with the QD attachment? I still have the one without it. I'd like to get a new one. Thanks

Couple of people on ar15.com have gotten them from stores so they must be trickling out. The guy that had his on EE for sale there now has it on GunBroker.
When I bought my lower about a month ago I could only find one vendor that had lowers with the QD swivel hole.
