I am in the process of doing a Form 1 to SBR my Daniel Defense. For the "model" drop down, do I put what is on the receiver, M4 Carbine? It's in the drop down but so are all of the DDM4 specific model numbers like DDMV1, etc.

Thanks for your help.

I've gone with exactly what is on the lower, not had issues.

The model designation for their rifle models is just listed on their uppers, right? No indication of the "VXX" on the lower?

Thanks. That's what I thought but figured I would make sure, lol even though their site crashed and I can't continue with that one anyway.

one more stupid question.

If I plan on this being a 300 blackout, do I choose 300 for caliber or 7.62 mm ?

300 is what I've done in the past.

Thank you. Going to give that a shot.

I take it since my Daniel Defense has 5.56 engraved on it I will need to engrave 300 along with my trust info?

Yes. I usually get mine engraved on the front of the magwell.

Trust name
Town and state
Caliber of SBR

Thanks. Finally was able to complete that one. Their site was fairly sluggish once it got back up and running.

If you label it "300" can you only shoot 300 out of it? Or can you shoot whatever caliber you want (.223, .22lr, etc.)?

The firearm is supposed to be marked with the proper caliber when it's assembled. This is usually handled by the barrel. Won't matter if lower says one caliber and barrel says another.

2nd this. You don't need to engrave the 300 designation, just the name of your trust and your town and state.
