Thought I would try something a bit different, so I picked this up today from my FFL. The K100 has a relatively uncommon rotary barrel arrangement, somewhat like the Beretta PX4. This is supposed to help with muzzle flip. Guess I'll find out whenever I get a chance to shoot it. Comes with the increasingly common backstrap assortment and two 15-rounders. I think the only military that has adopted it so far is the Slovakian Army ('cause it would probably look funny if they didn't, I suppose). Grand Power claims no MIM parts in the gun, but I'm not sure that matters with today's current technology anyway.

Any pro/con experiences from GP owners?

I don't own one, but seriously wanted one a few years back. Some other forums have reported problems with the grip cracking on earlier versions - not sure if this is an issue with newer ones, but I think the factory did something to address it.
Sorry my answer isn't very specific, but it's been awhile since I looked at them.

<edit:> here is one quick link, but I do remember reading more on it:

That problem was fixed in the Mk12 which the OP has (you can tell by looking at the take-down levers).

EDIT: Mine shoots like a dream, but I've had a couple of failure to feeds. To be fair, I have not really followed the recommended maintenance so I haven't decided if I want to blame the gun or not.

Check out Scootch00 on YouTube, he's done some really good reviews on I think three models.

I have 2055 rounds through my Grand Power Excalibur.

I have experienced three failures to extract.

The overall design of the gun is seriously cool and the construction is a cut above. The guns use ZERO MIM parts and the whole thing is machined from barstock.

It is exceptionally accurate, very soft shooting and the ergo's are very adjustable due to the varied sizing on the grips.

Back when the mags were 19.99 a piece, the gun was a serious value. Now, with 35-40 dollar mags, i am less inclined to say "yeah, this thing is a contender to the Glock throne".

If you're into DA/SA guns and you want something that shoots lights out, go for it. You will not be disappointed.

I was eyeing these hard before I opted to consolidate around CZ. Feedback seems well positive in the places I would normally look for research.

According to one of Grand Power's data sheets on the K-100, on an endurance test model there were "112,470 shots fired without any change of internal geometry". Not exactly sure what they're referring to.

There's a guy on Brian Enos and the GP Forum as well as the GP Facebook group named Dave, goes by cannuk223 who had some maintenance tips I strongly urge you to check out.

Agreed, the brianenos forums are very good for grand power things. I have actually not once seen any of these in person but they are constantly talked about and seem very popular on the brianenos forums.

The GP Excalibur is something I wish I could find in person, maybe not to buy it, but to at least try out.

Hmmmm. Don't know anything about these. It looks like an interesting pistol.
